Ingredients
- Salmon Filets
- Orzo
- Chicken broth
- Heavy cream
- Butter/olive oil
- Mustard
- Red pepper flakes
- Paprika
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic powder
- Green onions
- Lemon juice and zest
Directions
- This can be a one pan dish if you're clever about it.
- Marinate salmon filets in lemon juice, spices, and mustard. Refrigerated 1-3 hours (recommended).
- Sear Salmon in butter/olive oil for 3-4min per side.
- Remove salmon from pan and add green onions and spices and sautee.
- Add orzo to the same pan with butter lemon juice/zest and brown for 1-2 min.
- Add chicken broth and heavy cream and let simmer for about 10 min.
- Add salmon back to pan and put heat on low. Let everything sit together for 3-5min.
- Take off heat and enjoy (Green beans go well with this).
Time: about 20-30min not including chill time
